Case study
KURA
A curated network of high-end brands
01 / OVERVIEW
About the project
KURA is Displace Agency's own multi-store curation platform. It aggregates carefully chosen independent Shopify brands across jewelry, home, eyewear, and accessories under a single curated front-end. Each tenant keeps their own Shopify backend, inventory, and checkout, while KURA unifies discovery, editorial voice, and brand storytelling. Built as a headless Next.js + Supabase application with OAuth-based Shopify onboarding and an invitation system that only admits brands matching the editorial standard.
Results
One network, many shops, shared curation
A platform that treats independent Shopify merchants as curated peers rather than a marketplace. The architecture lets KURA invite brands, sync their catalog in real time, and surface products inside a shared editorial context, without the brands giving up control of pricing, fulfillment, or customer relationships. Sub-2-second page loads. Shopify OAuth onboarding. Real-time inventory via the Storefront API.
