What it is. Why we use it.

About Supabase

Supabase is our default backend for any project that does not fit Webflow. We use it for Auto Heritage (175 vehicles, 17 articles), KURA (invitation system + wishlists), and the Displace v3 site itself (projects, articles, case studies). Row-level security policies give us per-row authorization without writing a single middleware. The Management API lets us run SQL migrations via CI without needing psql. And the auth SDK integrates with Next.js server actions cleanly.

Why we use it

Postgres is a superpower. Supabase gives us Postgres plus the boring infrastructure , auth, storage, realtime, edge functions, and a management API , as one integrated service. Every time we have reached for something simpler we have regretted it.
